Apple unveiled the long-awaited Apple Watch

The Apple iWatch is real and it’s called the Apple Watch.

The glass covering up the Watch is made of sapphire crystal, the hardy scratch-proof material that was speculated to be used in the new iPhone 6 models’ displays. The actual display is a flexible Retina panel that has been laminated to the sapphire.
The Apple Watch has a built-in:
  • gyroscope
  • accelerometer
  • heart rate sensor
  • Taptic Engine for input sensing
On the software side:
  • Voice-activated Siri assistant
  • Maps and Photos applications
  • Fitness and Workout apps
  • Apple Pay
Three collections: Apple Watch, the Apple Watch Sport, and the Apple Watch Edition. The Apple Watch will start at $349 when it goes on sale early in 2015.
