Pavel Samokhvalov is a Moscow-based photographer. He studied Scandinavian history but dropped his studies to play rock in a band of contemporary academic musicians. He then left the band to study black and white cinematography at the Moscow Film Institute. At this point, he started working with Russian glossy magazines such as Esquire, GQ, Vogue, Numero.
