Ukrainian citizens, young and old, are currently involved in a tumultuous revolution in the capital city of Kiev. The protestors first began their anti-government demonstrations in late November, following President Viktor Yanukovich’s decision to withdraw the nation from a landmark trade pact with the European Union. Since then, they’ve had growing clashes with the police, escalating with time and rage on both sides. Below you see some shots from the battleground.
